The Laramie County Community College men's soccer team bounced back in style on Saturday afternoon, grinding out a 1–0 road win over Gillette College thanks to a dramatic late strike from freshman Kyonosuke Chikamoto.

Defensive Battle

In a match defined by grit and defensive resilience, both teams struggled to find clear scoring opportunities. LCCC generated 12 shots with 9 on frame, but Gillette's goalkeeper Jimmy Griffiths stood tall, recording five saves to keep the game level for most of the afternoon.

At the other end, Golden Eagles keeper Joshua Faerber was equally sharp, stopping all three shots on target to secure the clean sheet. The back line, anchored by Demitri Wiegand, Vincent Esteban-RentonJoshua Douzohand Tayvin Boeckel, absorbed pressure well and denied Gillette space in the attacking third.
