Laramie County Community College (LCCC) delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating Northeastern Junior College (NJC) 93–48 at home. The Golden Eagles set the tone early, outscoring NJC 21–10 in the first quarter and never looked back, building a 50–17 lead by halftime.
LCCC showcased offensive depth and efficiency, shooting 45.2% from the field and knocking down 10 three-pointers. Hannah Briskey led the charge with 20 points, while Nuria Florensa added 14 points and three assists. Sabela Carro contributed a well-rounded game with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, helping the Eagles maintain fluid ball movement throughout.
Defensively, LCCC controlled the boards with 47 rebounds, including 32 on the defensive end. Helena Salazar Meinesz anchored the paint with 8 rebounds, while Glorielle Mukeba chipped in 9 points and a block.
For NJC, Markella Psarra paced the team with 12 points, but the Plainswomen struggled offensively, shooting just 29% from the field and 21% from beyond the arc. Daniela Garcia Gasco fought hard on the glass, pulling down 14 rebounds, but NJC couldn't overcome LCCC's relentless attack.
