Laramie County Community College battled through four quarters and an intense overtime period Monday evening but came up just short in an 81–76 loss to Central Wyoming College at home. The Golden Eagles showed resilience and balance throughout the matchup, keeping fans engaged until the final buzzer.

LCCC opened the game with energy, taking the first quarter 24–21, before facing a cold stretch in the second. Despite the offensive lull, the Golden Eagles continued to trade momentum with the Rustlers, ultimately pushing the game into overtime after a strong fourth-quarter push. Central Wyoming, however, outscored LCCC 13–8 in the extra frame to seal the win.

The Golden Eagles' offense was fueled by a committee of contributors. Nuria Florensa led LCCC with 15 points, including three makes from long range. Sabela Carro turned in one of the most efficient performances of the night with 14 points and 7 rebounds, going 8-for‑9 at the free‑throw lineIrelynd Barnes added 13 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds, anchoring both ends of the floor. Alicia Trujillo and Julia Sanz Bonet each posted 9 points, while Selenay Tanik and Camila Bozan gave key scoring from the bench.
