STERLING, CO - Hannah Rhoades (Apple Valley, Calif.) recorded a career-best 10 digs as the Golden Eagles (5-5) lost 3-0 to #15 Northeastern (11-6) on Monday night.
Northeastern jumped out to a quick lead, taking the first set 25-11.
Rigan McInerney (Gillette, Wyo.) recorded nine kills in the match and added five digs in the loss.
The Plainswomen took the second set 25-14.
Kyla Childers (Parker, Colo.) tallied nine kills in the match while Shelby Veenstra (Twin Falls, Idaho) ended with 24 assists.
Northeastern finished off the Golden Eagles in the third 25-17.
The Golden Eagles open region play in Riverton, Wyo. against Central Wyoming on Friday, February 19 at 7:00 pm.
