CASPER, WY - Kyla Childers (Parker, Colo.) recorded 20 kills as the Golden Eagles eliminated McCook with a 3-2 win on Friday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles fell behind early, losing the first set 25-15 before storming back and winning the second set 25-18.

Shelby Veenstra (Twin Falls, Idaho) had a big afternoon, tallying 52 assists, 14 digs, three kills, and collected an ace in the win. 

LCCC won the third set 25-14 before losing the fourth set, 25-13, forcing a fifth set for the second consecutive day. 

Rigan McInerney (Gillette, Wyo.) had 19 kills and 10 digs, recording her second double-double of the tournament.

The Golden Eagles finished off McCook in the fifth set, winning 15-12. LCCC recorded 13 blocks as a team in the win.

LCCC will face Central Wyoming at noon tomorrow.
