Golden Eagles Battle Hard in Flight for a Cure Match Against #15 Casper College

The Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Golden Eagles volleyball team fell in four sets (1-3) to the nationally ranked #15 Casper College Thunderbirds during the annual Flight for a Cure match on Saturday.

Despite the loss, several Golden Eagles delivered standout performances. Beatrice Nani led the offense with 9 kills and added 3 block assists. Adriana Deming contributed 8 kills, while Addison Schreurs set the pace with 25 assists. Defensively, Savannah Cummings and Lea Susoy each recorded double-digit digs to anchor the back row.

The Flight for a Cure match is more than just a game—it's a cause. This annual event raises funds for the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center through sponsorships and t-shirt sales. With this match behind them, the Golden Eagles now hold a 5-1 record in conference play and will travel to face Eastern Wyoming College on Tuesday.
