The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles volleyball team continued their dominant run in Region IX play Tuesday night, defeating Eastern Wyoming College in four sets (3-1). The win boosts LCCC's conference record to an impressive 6-1.
Sophomore standout Adriana Deming led the charge with a powerful performance, tallying 11 kills, 9 digs, 4 block assists, and 1 service ace. Lea Susoy added to the offensive firepower with 9 kills, while also contributing 7 digs, 3 block assists, and 1 ace.
Setting the pace was Addison Schreurs, who orchestrated the attack with 31 assists, while also chipping in 4 kills and 2 block assists. On the defensive end, Savannah Cummings anchored the back row with 18 digs, and Ella Lopez added 14 digs, 6 kills, and 2 aces, showcasing her versatility.
The Golden Eagles will return to home court action this Saturday at 2 p.m., hosting Western Wyoming Community College in what promises to be another exciting conference matchup.
