Laramie County Community College delivered one of its most dominant performances of the season Saturday night, overpowering Northwest College 99–63 behind historic shot‑making from TJ Coulter, who scored 32 points and officially became the all‑time leading scorer in LCCC men's basketball history.

Freshman guard Anthony Nettles matched him with a career‑best 32 points, as the Golden Eagles' backcourt exploded for one of the most impressive performances in program memory.

Coulter Makes History With a Wing Three in the First Half

The milestone moment came early.

Midway through the first half, Coulter rose up on the right wing, drilled a deep three over a closing defender, and in doing so surpassed the all‑time scoring mark at LCCC. His teammates instantly recognized the history, celebrating the achievement before play resumed.

Coulter didn't slow down after making history, finishing with:

  • 32 points
  • 7 made threes
  • 11‑for‑21 shooting
  • 6 assists
  • No fouls or turnovers

His performance cemented his place atop the program's scoring list — and the Golden Eagles rode the momentum for the remainder of the night.

On the same night Coulter made history, freshman guard Anthony Nettles delivered a performance that announced his rise in Region IX.

Nettles finished with:

  • 32 points
  • 11‑for‑15 shooting
  • 4 threes

  • Relentless pressure on both ends

His steals turned into immediate transition baskets, and his attacking mindset gave LCCC a second unstoppable scoring option.

The Coulter‑Nettles tandem combined for:

  • 64 points
  • 11 threes
  • 11 assists
  • 8 steals

A backcourt performance that Northwest simply couldn't contain.

Elgizawy Slices Northwest Apart With 10 Assists

While Coulter and Nettles piled up points, Karim Elgizawy delivered a masterclass in playmaking. The sophomore guard finished with:

  • 10 assists
  • 5 points
  • Sharp reads in the pick-and-roll
  • Excellent pace control

His ability to find shooters and cutters helped LCCC maintain rhythm throughout the game.

Everything clicked.

LCCC Defense Overwhelms Northwest

The Golden Eagles turned the game into a defensive clinic:

  • Northwest forced into late‑clock shots

Northwest's high points came from:

  • Braydon Bradshaw: 16 pts on perfect shooting

But outside those contributions, the Trappers were smothered.
